This policy explains what personal data Monteiro Agency collects through monteiroagency.com, why, and what rights you have over it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

Only what you send us through the contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional) and message, plus the page and service package you contacted us from, if applicable.

We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or third-party cookies. The site remembers your language choice (EN/PT) in your browser's local storage. That value stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Why we use it

To reply to your request and, if you ask for it, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We don't use your data for newsletters or marketing and we never sell it.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf, only to run the service:

• Netlify (website hosting and the form's server function). Like any web server, it keeps technical access logs such as IP addresses for security, for a short period.
• Resend (sending the form notification and your confirmation email).
• Zoho Mail (hosting our inbox, where your message is received).

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

If your request doesn't turn into a project, we delete your data 12 months after our last contact.

If you become a client, we keep what's needed for invoicing and accounting for the period required by Portuguese tax law. Everything else is deleted when that period no longer applies.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to info@monteiroagency.com. We reply within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are not stored in any database. They are delivered straight to our inbox.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
